Well, Frank Henenlotter’s Bad Biology didn’t disappoint last night. This was his first movie in over 15 years and it was packed with his trademark humour and gross-out latex effects. Needless to say the FrightFest crowd loved every blood soaked minute.
Looking ahead it’s a big night for Zone Horror. Our Siren of Sinema Emily Booth will be onstage to present the winner of our CUT! 2008 Competition a cheque for £5000! Joining her on stage will be Joey Evans, director of Bubba’s Chili Parlor. This is one of the most talked about, independently produced movies in years and Zone Horror is proud to be sponsoring its premiere. 7.20pm can’t come quick enough for us.
But the day starts off with yet another first for FrightFest, the spooky but totally weird and wonderful cartoon Fear(s) of The Dark. |
