Jon and Howard Ford's stunning zombie movie The Dead is getting its world premiere at FrightFest on Monday the 30th. The film is set in the very near future where most of the world has succumbed to a living dead virus. We follow plane crash survivor Lt. Brian Murphy as he battles for survival across inhospitable parched terrain in search of a way to get back to his beloved family in America. Saved by local military man Sgt. Daniel Dembele, who is also searching for his son, both men join forces to fight the ever-present flesh-eating threat stalking the bush.

The movie boasts two intense lead actors, Prince David Osei and Rob Freeman who bring the drama to life in the most realistic way possible. It also captures the stark but beautiful African scenery whilst delivering breath-taking shocks.
