I Spit On Your Grave played to a packed Empire cinema earlier this evening. This screening, the European premiere was sponsored by the Horror Channel, and is an unflinching look at one woman's revenge against a gang of men who physically and mentally assault her in the most brutal and harrowing way. Escaping the scene we follow Jennifer's swift and inventive revenge on the men, taking the audience along with her on a bloody and violent journey. This remake takes the initial idea and runs with it cranking the violence up a notch and is not for the faint hearted.

In total contrast Monsters (pictured) is now playing, a road movie that is set around an alien infestation. More on this a tad later.
