We've already mentioned that respected journalist Alan Jones is back on the Horror Channel introducing more of Dario Argento's finest pieces of cinema during May. "But what else do you have for us fright fans?" I hear you ask. Well let me tell you, we have brutal relationship disintegration, messy orgasmic terror, beautiful burlesque undead, deadly charming chills and lashings of ghostly gruesomeness.
All movies start at 22:55 unless otherwise stated.
Blood River - Friday 6th May
If you like your horror to be of the nerve-shredding psychological variety then you won’t want to miss Adam Mason's Blood River. A young couple become stranded in the Nevada desert and take shelter in a ghost town. Soon, a mysterious stranger arrives, but he has no intention of aiding them. Andrew Howard, Tess Panzer and Ian Duncan lead a solid cast that deliver unforgettable performances which creates unbearable tension.
Bad Biology – Saturday 7th May
Frank Henenlotter's outrageous sexual shocker Bad Biology (pictured above) comes to Horror this month. A woman with an insatiable desire for sex and a man with a drug-addicted member come together in an orgy of uncontrollable and grotesque sexual excess. Bizarre, unique and shocking this is an awesome piece of cinema from the director of Basket Case. Look out for an exclusive interview with Frank Henenlotter on this site very soon.
Zombie Women Of Satan – Saturday 14th May
The blood-soaked British horror/comedy Zombie Women Of Satan is chock full or guts, guns and girls! A group of nightclub performers fall foul of a sinister rural family's misdeeds when tortured half-naked women are turned into zombies. When you have a character named Pervo the Clown you know what to expect so tune in for lashings of nudity, gore and blood-splattered shocks.
Life Blood – Saturday 21st May
Sultry scares await you later in the month when the Horror Channel presents Ron Carlson's Life Blood. Starring Sophie Monk Anya Lahiri and Scout Taylor-Compton it concentrates on a pair of gorgeous bisexual girls meet the (who also just happen to be smoking hot!) creator of the universe and are transformed into blood thirsty creatures of the night.
Spirit Trap – Saturday 28th May
Brit-babe Billie Piper takes on a very different role for David Smith’s Spirit Trap on the 28th at 21:00. Four students face a fight for their lives when they arrive at their new university lodgings; a dilapidated old house with a chequered past. Paranormal horror is big again and this one started the ball rolling so don’t miss this superior spooky shocker.
