It may have been raining in old London town yesterday but FrightFest 2007 got off to a bright shiny start with loyal festival goers getting the chance to rub shoulders with some of the most famous and talented people in the horror industry as well as some sheep! Yes folks you heard me (ha ha, get it?) correctly yesterday saw the premier of Black Sheep the new movie from New Zealand director Jonathon King who brought along with him two rather blood stained examples of his work! (fear not members of the RSPCA no animals were harmed in this smart piece of PR!) Look out for the snaps coming soon to this site as well as the report from our very own Emily Booth. Talking of Emily she is bringing FrightFest 2007 to your homes everyday with special daily pieces so keep tuning to see and hear the latest from this much loved festival.
But that wasn’t all that was happening yesterday as fans were treated to exclusive footage from the up and coming DVD release of 28 Weeks Later as well as getting the chance to see much talked about movie Black Water.
Today promises to be even more exciting with special screenings of movies such as The Signal and Shrooms as well some very special guests. More on these later.
For those of you not able to attend us here at Zone Horror have our very own premiers to treat you so tune in at 10.55pm when we present hayseed slaughter in Scarecrows.
Come back later today when I’ll be bringing you some of the gossip from this year’s event.
