Horror Channel, the UK's first TV channel dedicated to the dark side of cinema and television has been shortlisted for Best Specialist Channel at the prestigious Broadcast Digital Awards 2012 for the second year running.

When the shortlist was announced Broadcast said, "We are pleased to say we had a record breaking year and the entries really reflect the wealth of creative multiplatform initiatives from broadcasters, indies and digital specialists that have been produced over the last year - well done to everyone who is on the list!"

We are very proud to have been shortlisted and the past 12 months has been an amazing time for the Horror Channel, with coffin-loads of premieres and special event seasons such as Horror Horreur, Season Of The Banned, Hammer as well as our exclusive Director's Night and Horror Bites features.

The winners will be announced on June 20th.
