Tonight is dedicated to three movies that are universes apart in content but bound by the genre of horror.
Berberian Sound Studio (pictured) is the one making the most noise (ha ha) as it seems to be a Giallo fantasy set in the 70s with traces of surreal terror added to it. Seeing as though this is from Peter Strickland it's a must see as his films always ooze of invention.
Then it'll be the turn for Hollywood to get a look as the very polished Sinister gets its UK Premiere. From the director of the accomplished The Exorcism Of Emily Rose this looks to be a one where the big studios get it right. Fingers crossed.
As usual FrightFest has an eccentric Japanese flick for a late night slot and this year is no exception. Dead Sushi promises razor-toothed sushi and vinegar rice-spewing zombies! Perfect Sunday night viewing then (!)
