Well American Mary proved to be a huge hit with the FrightFest crowd. This well structured and powerful horror had a dark tone throughout, lifted every now and again by some knock out humour.

Jen and Sylvia Soska have proven that Dead Hooker In A Trunk wasn't a one off and that they are a talented team ready to take their career to the next level.

The film's main plot concerns the uncomfortable subject of body modification and thanks to some grisly and very real looking prosthetic work the directors get their message across. This is helped no end by a stunning central performance from Katherine Isabelle who just owns the screen whenever she's one.

So let's hear for the Twisted Sisters, I can't wait to see what they do next.
