Fantasy and blood-splattered tension are the topics of two of today's movies at FrightFest The 13th.

The first up is After, a road trip with a difference as the two only survivors of a bus crash try to uncover exactly what happened, why it was they survived and why are there monsters in the world now!

Following this it's the welcome return to the big screen of Jennifer Lynch and her disturbing piece, Chained. Psychologically powerful this sees a young boy witness the death of his mother, forced to bury the body and live an existence where he is only released when he kills.

A rather unpredictable pair of movies I'm sure you'll agree as FrightFest starts to build to its final climax.
