A Quite Place - New Trailer
By James W, Tuesday 13th February 2018

"If they hear you...they hunt you!"

It has been a while since a movie has generated so much buzz but this new piece from actor/director John Krasinski is making all the right sounds and got a lot of people sitting up and taking notice.

In A Quite Place, a family of four must navigate their lives in silence after mysterious creatures that hunt by sound threaten their survival. To put it simply, if they hear you, they hunt you.

All the other info we have is that it's coming soon (rumour has it that it's April 6th) from Paramount Pictures and it stars John Krasinski (a long way from The Office), Emily Blunt (who is married in real life to John Krasinski fact fans!) and there's a really cool trailer for it which you can see below.

Let us know what you think of the trailer and fingers crossed it lives up to the hype.

Halloween (2018) Original Soundtrack review

Halloween OST

For most horror fans out there 2018 has been a golden year with the genre regularly topping box-offices around the globe. But, as they say, the best is usually last and this year it's a real biggie, Halloween is back, and this time John Carpenter is attached to the project. Not only is he one of the Executive Producers but he's also composed the score alongside his son Cody and Daniel A. Davies.

Let's get things straight, I love the Halloween series of movies (yes, even the sequels) and having Carpenter connected in such a way is pure horror fan bliss and I didn't want my admiration for both to cloud my judgement but this is a classy score packed with invention, new interpretations of a class...

HC: After six years away from directing, you have two films, Reborn and Daddy's Girl poised for distribution. Why these two very different films now?

JR: My previous film Shiver was completed in 2012 and it took longer for me to get back into the directing saddle because of commitments I had to my sales company Jinga Films. The company was growing quickly and needed more of my time and energy. We had grown from handling th...
