Julia's Eyes - Brand New Trailer

Julias Eyes PosterTo celebrate this wonderful 3 day week we have something special for you, the UK trailer for Julia's Eyes (Los Ojos de Julia), the Spanish thriller directed by Guillem Morales and produced by Guillermo del Toro which hits UK cinemas on 20th May.

Julia (Belen Rueda), a woman suffering from degenerative sight disease, finds her twin sister Sara, who has already gone blind as a result of the same disease, hanged in the basement of her house.

In spite of the fact that everything points to suicide, Julia decides to investigate what she intuitively feels is a murder case, entering a dark world that seems to hide a mysterious presence.

The Lodgers are getting ready to be released

Starring Charlotte Vega, David Bradley, Bill Milner, Eugene Simon and Roisin Murphy, The Lodgers is a classic ghost story about orphaned twins who live on a crumbling estate in 1920s rural Ireland.

Though Isolated, Rachel (Vega) and Edward (Milner) are not alone, for they share the house with sinister unseen entities that forbid them from leaving. When the arrival of a troubled war veteran (Simon) sparks a sexual awakening in Rachel, she realises that she will have to fight alone to escape the family curse that has long haunted them.

You can meet The Lodgers when the movie is released on June 26th thanks to Thunderbird Releasing.

Thumbs up! The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy on vinyl

For the first time ever on vinyl, the first five BBC radio series of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy are heading for a turntable near you. Pre-orders for this limited run of the first volume went live 25th May, affectionately called 'Towel Day' by fans of the Douglas Adams series.

The first volume - Primary Phase - is out on 24th August 2018 and features a sleeve note by author Neil Gaiman, who will also sign the 500 exclusive artwork prints. The collectable volumes will also feature specially commissioned artwork and sleeve notes and 180g heavyweight red vinyl.

Subsequent volumes will be released over the course of the next year and each will have 500 limited edition signed artwork print edition...

First ever Fractured Visions Film Festival unveils poster and dates

Laura Vandervoort will lead the cast for remake of Cronenberg's classic, Rabid

Varese Sarabande Records will release Killer Klowns From Outer Space: Reimagined , a new recording of the soundtrack digitally on May 18th and on CD May 25. The album features the film's original synth score re-imagined by composer John Massari, performed by the 30-piece Hollywood Chamber Orchestra, with a special guest appearance by composer Bear McCreary playing the accordion and hurdy gurdy.
