Never is this clearer than with 2014's acclaimed and intense shocker Gifted

Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the woods... Grizzly is coming for you!
Posted on Tuesday 10th April 2018

After the success of Jaws in 1975, the carnage-packed copycats came thick and fast, but none is more fondly remembered than the teeth-bearing brilliance of Grizzly, which stormed a path across grindhouse theatres worldwide and left many an audience shell-shocked by its nature-run-amok intensity!

Starring the late, great violence-veteran Christopher George (City Of The Living Dead/Pieces) as a forest ranger with a humongous hairball of a problem on his hands, Grizzly was directed by the legendary B-movie hand William Girdler whose other work includes such memorable low-rent romps as Three On A Meathook (1972) and The Manitou (1978) alongside the slick and sick likes of Day Of The Animals (1977).<...

Abel Ferrara's The Addiction is coming for you!

Philosophy student Kathleen (Lili Taylor, The Conjuring) is dragged into an alleyway on her way home from class by Casanova (Annabella Sciorra, The Hand That Rocks the Cradle) and bitten on th...

Posted on Monday 9th April 2018

Amicus was founded by two Americans, Milton Subotsky and Max Rosenberg, and the story of its rise and fall is a fascinating one that has never been told in as full detail as it is in this important new film book.

Amicus - The Friendly Face of Fear tells the complete story of Amicus's 20 year creative period, starting with 50s rock musicals and charting its rise through Dr. Who movies and horror anthologies and prehistoric fantasies like The Land That Time Forgot. The book also explores the behind-the-scenes troubles that eventually tore the company apart, leading to a bitter and extended legal battle between the two former partners.
