The Ninjas Are Back And This Time Monsters Should Beware!
By James W, Monday 1st December 2014

NINJAS_VS_MONSTERS_BD_3DThe wise-cracking ass-kicking small town Ninjas are back with an action-packed horror film to be released by Left Films on DVD and Bluray in the UK on 26th January 2015. This time it’s Ninjas Vs Monsters, as they take on an army of traditional horror movie fiends in order to save mankind.

Dracula has called upon Frankenstein’s monster, The Mummy, Werewolf, and a coven of Witches to wipe out the Ninjas, but our pizza-loving heroes – tougher and wiser after their battles in the 2011 film Ninjas Vs Vampires - now have their own supernatural powers as well as awesome kung fu skills to counter the threat. What follows is non-stop combat with plenty of laughs and gore along the way in director Justin Timpane’s latest horror adventure, which is Executive Produced by Eduardo Sanchez (director of The Blair Witch Project, Lovely Molly and Exists).

The DVD and Blu-ray release include a huge package of extras including: Alternative Ending, Deleted Scenes, Audition Videos, Music Video, and more. The Blu-ray also includes a free bonus copy of Ninjas Vs Vampires the complete 95-minute feature film from 2011, in which the same characters took on an army of bloodsuckers to save the world.

The Boneyard

88 Films

Certificate 18

I pride myself in owning a large library of horror movies, whether it be on tape, laserdisc, DVD, Blu-ray and now 4K editions but for some reason The Boneyard has escaped being a member of my collection. Now this has finally been put right thanks to 88 Films who have given this under the radar schlocker the Blu-ray treatment.

The plot is straight forward as a cop, a psychic and two coroners try and halt a possible "zombie children" outbreak in a mortuary. But this is just the start of their problems.

Way, way, way over-the-top in style and substance, The Boneyard is a joyous and go...

FrightFest Logo 2018

Team FrightFest has finally revealed Graham Humphreys' anticipated poster for this year's event.

The stunning artwork for this year's annual Bank Holiday event, the UK's largest celebration of genre cinema, taking place at Cineworld Leicester Square and The Prince Charles Cinema between Thursday August 23rd and Monday August 27th.

For Graham, celebrating the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley's 'Frankenstein' seemed too important to ignore: "In the same way that Frankenstein gave life to his monster, horror films stimulate our imagination and give form to ideas that otherwise dare not leave the shadows", he commented. "The painting shows our familiar host enjoying ...
