Horror Booth LogoIf you missed any of Emily's wonderful movie premiere intros from The Horror Booth over the last few months then here's your chance to catch up with some of the best.

Over the next few weeks we'll be putting these wonderfully naughty and funny pieces up a day or two before the featured movie is shown, this week its the turn of the Tobin Bell chiller, Buried Alive which can be seen on Monday at 00:50. It concerns cousins Rene and Zane who take some college friends to their family's deserted old home they discover the caretaker has unearthed a deadly spirit. Enjoy.

Titans of terror George A. Romero and Stephen King deliver yet another selection of blood-curdling tales in Creepshow 2, the follow-up to the 1982 horror classic. Arrow Video will be giving this classic the release it deserves on Blu-ray on 13th July.

In "Old Chief Wood'nhead", a group of young hoodlums face retribution from an unlikely source after looting a local hardware store. Meanwhile, "The Raft" sees a group of horny teens wishing they'd read the warning signs first before taking a dip in a remote lake. Finally, an uptight businesswoman finds herself with some unwanted company following a hit-and-run incident in "The Hitch-hiker".

Horror Channel brings shocks aplenty in June with star-studded Spine-Chiller Season

Over the years there have been many "revenge" themed movies, a lot of which used uncomfortable and challenging set-ups to grasp their audiences. One only must think of the grindhouse films such as I Spit on Your Grave (1978), Last House on the Left (1972) and Death Wish (1974) to see what I am getting at here. There is a fine line between art and exploitation, and these challenged the censor to the limits.
