Doctor Who is responsible for some of the most iconic monsters and villains, after all:

Famous For: Hating everything that’s not a Dalek
First Appeared: The Daleks (episode: The Dead Planet) 21st December 1963 (well one of their sucker arms did)
Memorable Moments: They have battled every incarnation of the Doctor but their appearance in the Doctor’s second adventure helped to secure the future of Doctor Who.
TARDIS Trivia: Designed by Raymond Cusick, Daleks have 56 hemispheres on their skirts, The Go Gos released the song “I’m Gonna Spend My Christmas With A Dalek” in 1964.
Planet: Mondas (Earth’s twin planet)
Famous For: Once human they replaced body parts with cybernetics and have become soulless warriors.
First Appeared: The Tenth Planet (1966)
Memorable Moments: Appearing in the First Doctor’s final adventure in 1966, climbing out of their Cyber-tombs in Tomb Of The Cybermen (1967)
Quote: “If he had wished our destruction, he could have betrayed our cause”
TARDIS Trivia: Have evolved over the years but have always retained their “handle” design on their heads, they have an aversion to Gold, the Third Doctor never fought them until The Five Doctors in 1983.
Name: The Master
Famous For: Wanting to control all he sees and destroy the Doctor.
First Appeared: Terror Of The Autons (1971)
Memorable Moments: Anytime he used his tissue compressor to shrink life forms, always a chilling moment.
Quote: “You have always been my greatest stimulation, my dear Doctor, but now, you inspire me”
TARDIS Trivia: The Doctor and The Master went to school together, was originally planned to appear in the Third Doctor’s finally story, the character has been played by 7 adults and one child over the show’s 50 years.
Name: Ice Warriors
Famous For: Ssssspeaking like thisssssssss
Memorable Moments: Every time they communicated with each other their speech would be littered with elongated pronunciation of the letter “s”.
Quote: “Kill him!”
TARDIS Trivia: Were created by Brian Hayles, Carry On legend Bernard Bresslaw played Varga in their first adventure The Ice Warriors in 1967, two episodes from that adventure are still missing, only appeared in 4 adventures in the classic series though a fifth adventure where they met the Sixth Doctor was planned, Wendy Padbury (Zoe) has said that the Ice Warriors were her favourite monster.
Famous For: Being a Solar Engineer who discovered the power source that made time travel possible.
Memorable Moments: The first time the Third Doctor met him, at the time he regarded Omega as a hero.
Quote: “I have been grievously wronged Doctor, and now it is time for my vengeance!”
TARDIS Trivia: Onscreen has been played by Stephen Thorne (who played Azal in The Daemons) and Ian Collier (and Peter Davison), character has been used in two anniversary seasons The Three Doctors for the 10th anniversary and Arc Of Infinity for the 20th.

Memorable Moments: Having the Loch Ness monster as a pet

TARDIS Trivia: Have only appeared twice in Doctor Who, Zygons can replicate life forms (including clothing) calling this process Body Printing.
