Quatermass and the PitOctober is the highlight of any horror lover's year and Horror has made sure we have more channel premieres than ever before for you to enjoy! Here’s the juiciest ones picked for you to view.

Friday 11th - Horror Of Frankenstein
Hammer horror based on Mary Shelley's classic tale, Horror Of Frankenstein stars Ralph Bates, Kate O'Mara and Veronica Carlson. The brilliant yet misunderstood scientist Victor Frankenstein creates a monster from spare body parts - but can he control it?

Saturday 12th – Paperhouse
In Bernard Rose’s chilling British fantasy Paperhouse a young girl named Anna falls ill but discovers a dream world that somehow links to reality, but as she is drawn deeper into her fantasy her dreams turn into a nightmares.

Sunday 13th - Ilsa: Harem Keeper of the Oil Sheiks
Dyanne Thorne stars in the cult erotic exploitation flick Ilsa: Harem Keeper of the Oil Sheiks this month on Horror. Sadistic and voluptuous Ilsa is employed by a wealthy Arab sheik for whom she marshals a plethora of sex slaves including an American millionaire's daughter.

Wednesday 16th – Road Train
The Aussie trucking terror starring Fringe’s Georgina Haig, Road Train makes a stop on Horror this month. A group of teenagers are run off the road by a juggernaut that apparently has no driver, just a menacing will for destruction.

Friday 18th – Quatermass And The Pitt
The superb Hammer classic Quatermass And The Pit (pictured) makes its first appearance on the channel this month. While excavating a new subway line in London workers unearth a Martian space craft that begins to have a devastating psychic effect on the people around it.

Saturday 19th – Haunted
Starring Kate Beckinsale and based on James Herbert's chilling novel Haunted is a chilling mystery. The author of a book debunking the paranormal has his beliefs challenged by a series of inexplicable events.

Sunday 20th - Ilsa: The Tigress Of Siberia
More sexploitation shocks with Dyanne Thorne and this one was produced by Roger Corman and Ivan Reitman! Terrible temptress Ilsa overseas a Siberian Gulag where she mentally and physically torments the male political prisoners.

Wednesday 23rd – Train
Terrifying , high-speed thrills with Thora Birch as Train steams onto the Horror Channel. In Europe, a group of American athletes board a shady-looking train that takes them on a hellish ride with some unsavoury passengers.

Friday 25th – Class Of Nuke ‘Em High
Class Of Nuke ‘Em High is one of Troma’s most acclaimed and loved trashy comic horrors. The pot-smoking students of Tromaville high school suffer more than an attack of the munchies when the nuclear plant next door spills some toxic waste.

Saturday 26th – My Bloody Valentine (2009)
The very slick slasher remake of My Bloody Valentine starring Supernatural’s Jenson Ackles also gets its first airing this month. Tom returns to his home town on the 10th anniversary of a Valentine's night massacre to find the terror isn't confined to the past.

Tuesday 29th – Survival Of The Dead
George A. Romero continues to make the dead walk amongst us in Survival of the Dead. On an island overrun by the undead two factions of survivors clash; one determined to cure the epidemic, the other filled with bloodlust.

Thursday 31st – Goblin and Trick Or Treat
Jeffrey Scott Lando directs Gil Bellows, Tracy Spiridakos, Camille Sullivan and Donnelly Rhodes in Goblin. In this rampaging rural creature feature a woodland hamlet under a witch's curse suffers the wrath of a fierce goblin every Halloween, when the beast hunts for infants and kills anyone in its path.
Then in the classic shocker Trick Or Treat a bullied 'metal head' obtains a mysterious demo record of a recently deceased hard rock star with startling consequences. Featuring rock gods Gene Simmons and Ozzy Osbourne this is the only way to celebrate Halloween.

Escape from New York score to be released on red vinyl

Originally released on the 31st of July 2015, the vinyl edition of John Carpenter's classic 1981 thriller, Escape from New York mirrored the expanded CD release from 2000, with over 20 minutes of previously unreleased music plus music from scenes deleted from the final print and original dialogue highlights.

The masters for that CD were re-mixed from the original multi-track session tapes by long-time Carpenter associate Alan Howarth making it a true unmissable release.

Silva Screen Records will re-release this score on red vinyl for the first time on May 27th.

Richter's approach explores the feelings of the protagonist's family, the Garveys, through intimate, small-scale music.

Back by popular demand having been originally released in 2013 on black vinyl, the now classic soundtrack to Doctor Who Series 1 and 2 has been repressed on coloured vinyl for the first time thanks to Silva Screen Records.

The enduringly popular music to Doctor Who Series 1 & 2 features some of Murray Gold's finest work alongside two songs from Neil Hannon (The Divine Comedy), Song For 10 from 2005's Christmas Special and Love Don't Roam from The Runaway Bride.

Horror Channel launches assault of premieres for June plus further seasons of Farscape
